
Terms and Conditions
- The management reserve the right to cancel any satellite qualifiers if, in their view, there are insufficient entrants to proceed. Entry stakes will then be refunded for that Satellite Competition.
- The start times of the Satellite Qualification Competitions are set at the discretion of management and are available by contacting the casino and will be displayed in the casino in advance of the competition.
- There will be two starting days for the Grosvenor Grand Prix Final Main Event. Players will be allocated a starting day once they have qualified. Alteration: Friday 31st October is now the only starting day.
- Seating will be determined by a random draw with the tables evenly split between the sittings. All players should be in the casino at least half an hour before their allocated start time. Any players not present once play commences will have their blinds posted for them when it is their turn to do so.
- Chips of players who are not present will not be removed from play unless they have been disqualified.
- Both starting days will be of the same duration and all points held by players at the end of the day will be carried forward to the next day of the competition. A re-draw for seating will be held prior to the commencement of each new day of the tournament and the final table.
- The Grand Prix Satellite Qualifier Competitions and Grand Prix Competition Final will be run in accordance with the General Competition Rules as displayed in the Card Room and in accordance with GUKPT terms and conditions
- Qualifying places for the Grand Prix Competition Final are non-transferable and non-refundable. A cash prize will not be offered as an alternative to qualification.
- It is a player's responsibility to ensure that their membership is valid at the club where the final is to be held and that they are available to play on the days when the final is to be held.
- All entry stake, re-buys and add-ons for a Grand Prix Satellite Qualifier will be added to the prize pool for the Grand Prix Competition Final.
- Players who win a Grand Prix Satellite Qualifier Competition may not enter further Grand Prix Satellite Qualifiers. Players who have not qualified may play in as many Satellite Qualifiers as they wish.
- The Grand Prix Competition Final will be a "freeze-out" Competition, and consequently there will be no re-buys.
- Participation in the Grand Prix Competition Final is only achieved through qualification from a Grand Prix Satellite Qualifier Competition. There will be no means of direct entry into the Grand Prix Competition Final.
- A list of the number of entry/re-entry stakes received and number of qualifiers from each Grand Prix Satellite Competition (wherever held), together with a cumulative total of Prize money accumulated so far, will be displayed in the Card Rooms of all participating casinos and online at www.grosvenorgrandprix.com, until the Grand Prix Final has taken place.
- Winners who fail to attend the Grand Prix Competition Final, in which they have qualified, will not receive a refund or cash-alternative.
- Grand Prix Satellite Competitions will be held at the following casinos: Grosvenor: Bolton, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Great Yarmouth, Huddersfield, Leeds (Merrion Way), Leeds (Moortown), Newcastle, Plymouth, Salford, Southampton, Stoke, Swansea, Walsall and at The Victoria in London. G Casinos: Blackpool, Luton, Manchester and Thanet. There will also be qualifiers held online at www.bluesqpoker.com.
- The game will be Pot Limit Hold'em.
- One in every eight players in any Grand Prix Satellite Qualifier Competition will qualify for a place in the Grand Prix Competition Final to be held between Thursday 30th October and Sunday 2nd November 2008, at the Grosvenor Casino, Walsall. Players will qualify from each field as follows:

- All qualifiers will be advised of the final breakdown before the Grand Prix Competition Final begins.
- No prize money will be paid until the Grand Prix Competition Final takes place.
- Management reserves the right to change or make additions to these Rules for the benefit of the competition. Any such changes will be notified to players in advance of play.

* 5% of the overall prize pool will be deducted in lieu of registration fees. Blue Square Poker is adding £25,000 to the prize pool. This will be added after the 5% deduction has been made.

If required small blinds will then increase by 2000 a time (big blinds are twice the small blinds).
Remember registration closes promptly and you need to have registered at your chosen casino at least 15 minutes before the event commences. You will not be able to register thereafter. Contact your chosen casino for further details of starting times. Don't forget if it is your first visit to a Grosvenor Casino, you will need to bring a form of identification (passport, driver's licence, debit or credit card) with you.
